Course Operation: 18 Hole private facility on the northern end of Sea Island. We have Tifeagle greens, Celebration fairways, 419 roughs, and diamond zoysia and Tifgrand Tees. Course was built in 1995 by Rees Jones, and renovated in 2007 by Rees Jones again.
Duties: To assist the Superintendent in day to day operations including, but not limited to, chemical/fertilizer applications, accurate record keeping of applications, supervision of crew, and job delegation.
Salary: TBD.

Requirements: Must have 2-4 year degree in Turf related field. Must have obtained, or needs to be able to obtain a GA Pesticide License.

Spray Technician - Creek Club Reynolds Lake Oconee

Course Operation: Reynolds Lake Oconee is about 85 miles east of Atlanta, tucked into the rolling lake country of Georgia, lies a community unlike any other. Founded on 12,000 acres of brilliant lakefront property, Reynolds Lake Oconee features six carefully crafted golf courses, a unique sporting ground, and all the recreational and culinary amenities befitting a world-class private club.Reserved for Creek Club club member play, the newest course at Reynolds Lake Oconee captures the natural essence of the undulating terrain unique to the Lake Oconee region.18 hole Jim Engh design. Par-72 7,079 yards. Crenshaw Bentgrass greens, Zorro Zoysia fairways and Tif 10 Bermudagrass roughs.
Duties: Calibrates the spraying equipment. Applies and stores pesticides in accordance with regulations. Maintains knowledge of pesticides in regards to mode of action and safety precautions. Maintains neat and accurate records of all pesticide applications. Maintains all spraying equipment and ensures that the mixing areas are clean and neat. Participates in morning set-up of the golf course, monitor irrigation system and pump station. Maintenance and repair of irrigation system. Scouts the golf course on a regular basis for insect, weed, and disease problems. Diagnose any observations and take corrective action after discussion with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent. Assist with wilt watch for bentgrass greens. Assist with mowing and maintenance of all turf grass area on the golf course. Act as lead crew member on special projects as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Salary: $12.20 per hour, + depending on experience.

Requirements: Must have a minimum of two years previous experience in golf course maintenance. Desire minimum one year experience in pesticide application. Must be proficient in calibration of sprayers/spreaders. Must have or be able to obtain Georgia Pesticide Applicator's License within six months of hire. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Desire Turf Management Degree.

Membership classifications are assigned according to the Georgia GCSA Bylaws.
