The Georgia GCSA knows your lives and businesses are being affected by the global COVID-19 Pandemic. We wanted to provide you with resources specific to golf and business operations to assist you in this challenging time. Keep up with GCSAA's latest updates concerning the pandemic.

We want to take this opportunity to share with you some recent actions undertaken by Georgia’s allied golf associations—the Georgia Chapter of Club Management Association of America, Georgia Chapter of Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, Georgia Section of the PGA of America and the Georgia State Golf Association, to advocate for our state’s nearly 400 golf facilities and the resulting impact from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Our History


The Georgia Golf Course Superintendents Association was formed in 1949 to further the profession of the golf course superintendent in Georgia. With around 800 members, the association is one of the largest affiliated chapters of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.

Membership Inquiry

Membership in the Georgia GCSA is open to any individual directly involved in the turf industry. Golf course superintendents, assistants, employees of members, manufacturers, distributors, educators, turf maintenance professionals, turfgrass students and specialists are all welcome. Membership classifications are assigned according to the Georgia GCSA Bylaws.
