Course Operation:
36 hole facility with Bentgrass Greens on one course and Miniverde Greens on the other.
Duties: Strong Mechanical background with experience on a golf course. Must have a clean motor vehicle record. Possess excellent time management skills, and able to order own parts.
Salary: Commensurate with experience/ Competitive
Benefits: Medical insurance after 90 days, uniforms, golf privileges, PTO after a year.

Assistant Golf Course Mechanic

Atlanta Country Club
Marietta, GA
Course Operation:
18-Hole Private Country Club in East Cobb County Georgia. A-1 Bentgrass greens, Zoysia and Bermuda tees, and Bermuda fairways. We have a mix of John Deere, Toro, Jacobsen, and various other pieces of equipment.
Duties: The Assistant Mechanic reports directly to the Head Mechanic. The Assistant Mechanic will assist the Head Mechanic in the repair and maintenance of all equipment associated with the course maintenance department. The Assistant Mechanic will serve in the Head Mechanic's capacity during their absence
Salary: $15 (DOE) 40 hours/week + overtime.

Requirements: Minimum 1 year of previous mechanic experience required. Willing to train the right person who is willing to learn, be proactive and punctual, with a good attitude and a team-oriented mindset. Ability to assist in service of all golf course equipment. Assist in inspecting equipment for operating deficiencies. Assist in making repairs and adjusts equipment as directed. Operate equipment to safety specifications. Clean and organize shop as directed by Head Mechanic. Willing to work weekends and holidays. Must have valid drivers license, ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Have the ability to lift, move, carry objects up to 75lbs, stoop, stand, bend, and grip and squeeze repeatedly.

Membership classifications are assigned according to the Georgia GCSA Bylaws.
