18 hole semi-private club, G-2 Greens ,419 fairways and tees. Toro equipment.
Duties: Proactive maintenance and repair of equipment. Maintain clean organized work area. Must be able to grind and adjust mowers timely and accurately. Positive attitude.
Salary: Will discuss in interview.

Equipment Manager/Technician

We are a sports field maintenance and construction company with a variety of equipment ranging from small engines and reel mowers to heavy equipment. We have a variety of new and old equipment. Our shop is fully equipped, with specialty tools, fabrication equipment, Foley grinders, tire equipment, 2 post lift, and many other items. 
Duties: This individual should have a "can do" attitude, be honest, self driven, punctual, resourceful, and have the ability to figure things out. This person must be able to manage a fleet of equipment, keep up with preventative maintenance, small repairs such as bearings, hydraulic hoses, tires, light welding, fabrication, stocking parts, and fluids. This person will be responsible for scheduling major repairs with outside vendors and determining what repairs will be outsourced. Some repairs will be made in the field. Must be able to keep records, have and keep a valid drivers license with a clean driving record. Ability to keep shop stocked, clean, and safe.
Salary: $26 and up depending on experience and ability.
Benefits: 401k with match, insurance, paid vacation and personal days, company vehicle, clothing, cell phone, NO WEEKEND WORK, overtime.
Requirements: No education required, but experience is required. Some computer skills are necessary.

Equipment Manager

Company Operation:
Atlanta Country Club is a private, 18 hole golf course located in Marietta, GA, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. The golf course consists of bentgrass greens, bermudagrass fairways and roughs, and zoysia grass and bermuda grass tee boxes. We emphasize a fun, team and goal-oriented atmosphere where all team members provide value for our department. 
Duties: The equipment manager reports to the golf course superintendent and oversees a preventative maintenance program. This program includes the repair of failing equipment, and placing orders for parts and supplies needed for equipment or service. The EM will inspect, diagnose, and repair various golf course maintenance equipment. The EM works along with the assistant equipment manager as a team in trouble-shooting and engaging in repairs and maintenance. The EM spot checks equipment for performance on the course, and tailors a reel grinding program accordingly. The EM will also be expected to develop a proper parts inventory system to limit equipment down time.
Salary: Competitive and based on experience.

Requirements: Must be self-motivated and team-oriented.  Must have a working knowledge of gas, diesel, and 2-cycle engines. Must be familiar with hydraulics and electrical components. Must have experience with reel and bedknife grinding. Must maintain a clean and safe work area.

Golf course superintendents, assistants, employees of members, manufacturers, distributors, educators, turf maintenance professionals, turfgrass students and specialists are all welcome. Membership classifications are assigned according to the Georgia GCSA Bylaws.
