Course Operation:
36 hole private club in Alpharetta, partnered with our sister club Horseshoe Bend in Roswell. This position reports to the GCOG/HBCC Equipment Manager. 
Duties: Troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all golf course equipment. Direct and supervise Assistant Mechanic. Aid in inventory control and purchasing.
Salary: $16-$19/hour DOE.

Golf Course Mechanic/Shop Manager

Course Operation:
Club established in 1909. Host of Georgia State Amateur Championship (7) times. Private 18 holes. Bentgrass greens, Bermudagrass fairways, tees, and roughs. George Cobb design. 
Duties: Golf Course Equipment Repair, and Preventative maintenance of all equipment. Shop and Turf Facility maintenance/management. Work closely with CGCS/AGCS in daily golf course equipment needs.
Salary: Based on Experience. Hourly Position.

Chateau Elan Winery & Resort. www.chateauelan.com 54 holes of golf; bermuda and bent greens; Two 18 hole resort courses and one Par 3 9 hole course. 
Duties:Set up golf course for daily play to include; moving cup placement, moving tee markers, emptying trash containers, servicing ball washers, filling divots.Operate blower or rake to remove any debris from the course. Operate string trimmer or edger to maintain a sharp edge around all areas of golf course (curblines, bunker edges, lake and creek banks).Operate bunker machine to manicure sand for proper playability. Operate hand or power mower to cut turf on green and tee areas. Operate tractor to till, cultivate, and grade new turf areas, to apply prescribed amounts of lime, fertilizer, insecticide, and fungicide, and to mow rough and fairway areas at designated cut, exercising care not to injure turf or shrubs.Dig and rake ground to prepare new greens, grade and clean traps, and repair roadbeds. Maintain wooded areas throughout course, spread mulch material (bark, straw) as directed.Plant trims and spray trees and shrubs. Assist with all irrigation repair and maintenance. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.All activities will be carried out in a professional manner being ever mindful of safety.

Statesboro Bulloch County Parks & Recreation Department

SBCPRD - Parks Division maintains 14 parks and one greenway with a total of 250 acres maintained. Of the 250 acres maintained 78 acres are "fine turf" (athletic fields) that require the use of reel mowers, sprayers, aerifiers, etc.

Duties: This position performs troubleshooting, diagnostics, evaluations, repairs and maintenance on commercial turf equipment, at customer locations. This includes gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, drivelines and electrical systems, and cutting units (reel and rotary). This position interfaces directly with the customer and contributes to customer satisfaction by fixing equipment right the first time and meeting repair promise dates. Location: The ideal candidate should be located in East/Southeast Georgia (East I-20 corridor, Savannah, or surrounding area).
