Equipment Technician

Governors Towne Club
Acworth, GA

Course Operation: 18 hole semi-private.
Duties: Governors Towne Club in Acworth Georgia is seeking a full time Equipment/Shop Manager. The Equipment/Shop Manager is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and keeping in good working order for all of the Club's landscape and golf course maintenance equipment and all maintenance buildings and structures. The Equipment/Shop Manager will establish and implement preventive maintenance programs for all equipment on inventory in the golf maintenance operation. The Equipment/Shop Manager will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all golf maintenance equipment. This Equipment/Shop Manager must be proficient in sharpening bed knives and reels on cutting units. The Equipment/Shop Manager must maintain the mechanics work area and company tools in a clean, well-organized, safe and secure manner as well as record keeping on club machinery. The Equipment/Shop Manager must follow and adhere to all Club/Employee policies, safety and environmental standards as set forth by the company & federal, state and local laws. The Equipment/Shop Manager will be responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels of petroleum products, replacement parts, shop supplies and required record keeping. The Equipment/Shop Manager will be responsible for the storage and removal of waste oils and other hazardous materials and all required record keeping.
Salary: $45,000-$55,000.

Equipment Mechanic/Manager

Course Operation: 36 hole executive with 2 driving ranges.
Duties: The Equipment Mechanic overarching responsibility is to maximize the golf course equipment's condition and health within the budget provided. This position reports to the club's Golf Course Superintendent.
Salary: $15/hr or 30-35k salary based on experience.
