Duties: Supervising/Scheduling of maintenance crew/calibration and supervising applications of chemicals and fertilizer, irrigation repair and maintenance.
Salary: $42,000 - $45,000.

Assistant Superintendent

Jennings Mill Country Club
Athens, GA

Course Operation: Jennings Mill Country Club is a links style course that was designed by the late Bob Cupp. It opened in 1987 and has hosted a wide range of professional and amateur events, including Nationwide Tour/Web.com, PGA Tour, Georgia PGA and many Georgia State Golf Association tournaments. In 2015 JMCC underwent multiple golf course renovations including bunkers, tees and greens. The greens were converted from Bentgrass to TifEagle.
Duties: Jennings Mill Country Club is seeking an individual who will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and is hard working and capable of managing the staff as well as all aspects of daily operations. Also, the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent will be responsible for all daily notifications and documentations to be completed before the end of each scheduled workday.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Requirements: 2-4 year turf degree as well as previous golf course experience. Must be highly motivated and have an eye for detail.

Assistant Superintendent

Dunwoody Country Club
Dunwoody, GA

Course Operation: Dunwoody Country Club is a private, member owned club established in 1969 in Dunwoody, Georgia. Originally designed by William Byrd, the club has undergone multiple renovations and enhancements designed by Bill Bergin. Current grassing scheme is Mini Verde Ultra-Dwarf Bermuda Greens, TifGrand Bermuda Tees and 419 Tifway Bermuda Fairways and Rough. Operational goals include a potential large-scale irrigation renovation, a tee and fairway re-grassing and constructing a short game practice area.
Duties: Dunwoody Country Club's grounds department is seeking hardworking, self-motivated individual that is eager to advance their career in the golf course industry. The 1st Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent to facilitate and execute all operations necessary to maintain golf course and grounds. The 1st Assistant Superintendent will assist in daily course setup, water management of playing surfaces, monitoring and applying fertility and chemical applications, in-house and contracted projects, and all other agronomic practices necessary to maintain championship conditions.
Salary: DOE.

River Forest Golf Club
Forsyth, GA

Course Operation: River Forest is a 18 Hole Private Golf Course. Greens are A1, A4 Bentgrass and all other turf is TifSport Bermuda.
Duties: Work directly with the Golf Course Superintendent in improving and maintaining all aspects of the course. Managing staff ,spray applications, irrigation repair, clubhouse grounds, etc.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Requirements: Turfgrass experience preferred but not required. Must have great work ethic and obtain Georgia pesticide applicators license within first year.
