Course Operation: Founded in 1961, GICC is an 18-hole private club situated on the Chattahoochee River. It has a rich history and played host to to the PGA's Southern Open for almost 20 years.
Duties: Direct the crew in day to day operations-Aide the superintendent in planning fertilizer and pesticide applications-Spray pesticides and apply granular fertilizers-Assist crew members with irrigation repairs-Maintain a clean and professional manner at all times-Be an example for the agronomy crew to follow.
Salary: Very Competitive (commensurate with experience).

Legacy Turf Farms
Course Operation: Legacy Turf Farms is a sod farm located in Cartersville that produces quality turf for the residential, commercial and sports turf industry servicing the Atlanta area. It is made up of 3 farms totaling 500 acres of various Bermuda and Zoysia grasses.
Duties: The Assistant Manager will help with the daily operation of sod production, turf maintenance, irrigation, fertilizer and pesticide applications as well as staff management.
Salary: $40,000 - $50,000.

Glen Arven Country Club
Course Operation: Glen Arven Country Club is one of the oldest clubs in America. Founded in Southwest Georgia in 1892, Glen Arven one of the premier clubs in the region. Most recently, the course was renovated in 2014 by Bob Cupp. The renovation included new grass varieties, bunkers, greens, tees, and fairway grading. Numerous projects are upcoming as the Club's leadership works to continually improve. Glen Arven is the social centerpiece of Thomasville, which is a thriving community of restaurants, businesses, and renown outdoorsman activities. Course Details: 18-hole private facility with practice range, chipping and short game practice area. MiniVerde Ultradwarf Bermuda Grass Greens, TifGrand Collars, Celebration Bermuda tees, fairways, and rough. Toro Irrigation with Toro Lynx Central Control System and Satellite Controllers. Property size: 190 acres (110 acres of turf).

The Landings Club - Palmetto Course
Savannah, GA - Skidaway Island
Course Operation: The Landings Club is the largest private member owned club in the United States. The Club is located on Skidaway Island, an 18 square mile barrier island off the coast of Georgia. The Club is just minutes away from historic downtown Savannah and Tybee Island Beach. There are six championship golf courses designed by some of golf architectures greats such as Arthur Hills, Tom Fazio, Arnold Palmer and Willard Byrd. Each course has its own style and views; all of the courses intertwine along the salt marshes and lagoons that surround Skidaway Island.
Duties: Greets members and guests with a smile and takes care of their needs. Assists in supervising repairs and maintenance of all mechanic and motorized equipment. Instructs Equipment Operators in the safe, efficient operation and care of equipment. Assists in supervising and maintenance of pumps, irrigation and drainage systems. Supervises the daily preparation of the golf course, i.e hole location, tee markers, rakes, hazard and out of bounds markers. Performs sprayer and fertilizer spreaders calibration. Assists in spraying pesticides, applying fertilizers on greens, tees and fairways. Inspects turf, shrubs, and other outdoor Club areas to assess pesticide and fertilizer needs and applies as needed to maintain excellent condition of grounds and golf course. Responds proactively to any needs that arise from members, employees, or guests. Maintains inventory of products, chemical storage areas and mixing area in compliance with state regulations. Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment, as appropriate. Represents the club with the utmost of professionalism. Maintains accurate records on all equipment. Trains on and enforces all safety policies and procedures. Follows safety guidelines described in the operating procedures and generally practices behavior that ensures the safety of the employee, co-workers, members, and guests. Complies with departmental grooming standards. Works variety of shifts, as needed to include nights, weekends and/or holidays. Complies with departmental and Club policies and procedures. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Horseshoe Bend Country Club
Course Operation: HBCC is a privately-owned 18 private country club.
Duties: This position will maintain all landscaped areas on the golf course and grounds. Duties will include, but not limited to: Pruning shrubs, edging beds, installing mulch, replacing annuals, installing new plants, pulling weeds, spraying herbicides, etc. The job is full-time with weekends off.
Salary: $15-18.00 per hour.
