Assistant Superintendent

Indian Hills Country Club
Marietta, GA
Course Operation:
Indian Hills Country Club is a 27-hole full private facility, with 18 holes Crenshaw bentgrass and 9 holes of newly renovated TifEagle greens, 419 bermudagrass tees, fairways, and rough designed by Joe Lee.
Duties: Duties include but are not limited to: Assist Golf Course Superintendent with daily operations, daily golf course set-up, lead crew on in-house projects, fertilizer/pesticide application as well as calibration of equipment, irrigation troubleshooting/repair, and all other duties as assigned by Director of Golf Courses and Grounds and GCS.
Salary: $38,000.
Benefits: Uniforms provided, daily lunch from Clubhouse, paid vacation/sick leave, Medical/Dental/Disability Benefits, 401K available after one year, golfing privileges and State/National Association Dues Paid.
Requirements: 2 or 4 year degree in Turfgrass Management or a certificate earned in a related program. Ability to receive Pesticide Applicators’ License within 90 days of hire. Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus, Summer Wilt Management on bentgrass putting greens. Experience with management of ultradwarf bermudagrass greens. Self-starter, strong work ethic and the desire to constantly learn and improve knowledge of turfgrass and golf course maintenance.

Assistant Superintendent

Course Operation:
Hawks Ridge is a private golf club that was designed by Bob Cupp and was opened in 1997. The course is all bentgrass on the greens, Zorro Zoysia on the tees, all fairways and rough is 419 Bermuda. The club also has a 9 hole par3 course.
Duties: Assist Superintendent in the detailed manicuring of the course and surrounding grounds. The candidate will be highly involved in scheduling, chemical applications, irrigation, and staff management.
Salary: $35,000-$40,000.

Requirements: 2 to 4 year degree in turf management and a Pesticide Licenses. Also be willing to learn with a positive outlook and demeanor.

Course Operation:
The Savannah Golf Club is a private, 18-hole golf club. It was founded in 1794, making it the oldest golf club in America. In 1927, Donald Ross renovated much of the course. We are located just 2 miles outside of historic downtown Savannah. We have Champion ultradwarf bermudagrass greens, Zeon zoysiagrass green surrounds, a mix of 419 bermudagrass and Zeon zoysiagrass tees, and 419 bermudagrass fairways and roughs. The course has beautiful live oaks that are hundreds of years old as well as historic Civil War mounding that truly makes SGC a unique property.
Duties: To assist the superintendent in all aspects of golf course maintenance. I am seeking an individual that has a passion to provide tournament conditions on a daily basis. The candidate will be highly involved in budgeting, chemical programs, crew management, and in-house golf course projects.
Salary: $45,000-$50,000+ DOE.

Salary: $47,000-$50,000 DOE.
