Assistant Superintendent

Course Operation:
The Chimneys Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal golf course owned by the City of Winder with Bentgrass greens, 419 Bermuda Tees, aprons, fairways and rough, with some fescue areas. Toro Osmac irrigation system.
Duties: Assists the Superintendent in all tasks involved in maintaining the golf course. The Assistant Superintendent reports directly to the Course Superintendent and the Director of Golf Operations. Responsibilities to include but are not limited to, daily planning, execution and recording, fertilizer and chemical applications, irrigation management and repair, crew management and training, and project execution. A high level of communication and organization is required for the success of all tasks and responsibilities.
Salary: $14-$16/hr, based on experience.

Salary: $13 - $15 an hour with the ability to earn overtime pay through the Summer months.
