Duties: The Landings Club is seeking a positive, energetic, competitive, highly capable professional who will assist the Superintendent in all aspects of the Golf Maintenance operation including personnel management and execution of the agronomic plans. The preferred candidate will be goal oriented and possess a strong desire to learn and grow within the Club Industry.
Salary: $47,000-$50,000 DOE.

Requirements: Candidates must have a 2 or 4 year degree in turf management or related field. Must also have previous Golf Course Maintenance experience and must have completed at least one internship. Ultradwarf Bermudagrass experience a plus.

Assistant Superintendent

Country Club of the South
Johns Creek, GA
Course Operation:
18 Hole Private Country Club, Bentgrass greens, 419 Bermuda fairways, approaches and rough with Zeon Zoysia tees.
Duties: Assist the Superintendent in the day to day operations. We will discuss all duties expected of the Assistant during the interview process.
Salary: 40K+

Requirements: A degree in Turf Management or related field of study is required. Required to have a GA state pesticide license or the ability to obtain one. Prefer 3 to 5 years experience on Bentgrass greens in the transition zone.

Assistant Superintendent

Harbor Club on Lake Oconee
Greensboro, GA
Course Operation:
18 hole, Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish Design, Course consists of A1/A4 Bentgrass greens, 419 Bermudagrass Fairways and Rough and a mix of Zoysiagrass and Bermudagrass Tees.
Duties: Efficient planning and execution of crew operations to maximize daily course conditions. Ability to consistently lead and train staff to maximize team performance. Ability to communicate openly with staff, members, clubhouse and supervisor.
Salary: $35,000 - $40,000 depending on experience.
Benefits: Paid dues to Georgia GCSA and GCSAA; health insurance after 90 days; cell phone reimbursement; uniform allowance; golfing privileges; meal discounts and paid continuing education events.
Requirements: 2 - 4 year turf degree preferred; Pesticide Applicator’s License or ability to acquire within 1 year of employment; previous management and Bentgrass experience highly preferred.

Assistant Superintendent

Woodland Hills Golf Club
Cartersville, GA

Duties: The Assistant is responsible for assisting with the directing, coordinating and the supervision of the maintenance crew. The Assistant must help keep accurate records of weather as it relates to maintenance needs.  The employee must function as an active worker on such projects as fertilization, application of chemicals, construction and mechanics as well as take responsibility for purchasing and budgeting as requested.
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience.

Requirements: The candidate for this position should have good knowledge of agronomy, chemical application, construction and maintenance and a complete understanding of the utilization and operation of all golf course equipment. The position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to lead by example, good communication skills and good knowledge of the game of golf. This position requires the employee to have sufficient proficiency in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with members and guests to ensure that service is provided to them in a professional and responsive manner, and to communicate with co-workers to ensure that job responsibilities are performed in an efficient, effective and safe manner. The Assistant Superintendent will be required to work some holidays and weekends as necessary.
